Mission Statement

To create an environment that broadens the understanding and appreciation of issues that influence the inclusion of AAPI educators.  Issues that have contributed to the lack of AAPI representation in schools.  Connected to this is an exploration of diversity and social justice, in addition, to establishing a broader community network on Long Island and beyond.  APACE-LI is committed to improving the recognition and acceptance of the dignity and worth of  AAPI educators, students, and parents by providing a welcoming, supportive, and safe space that will engage and enhance their social, intellectual, and interpersonal skills.

Vision Statement

APACE-LI strives to not only improve representation by developing a community of AAPI educators but also provide resources to cultivate cultural learning and appreciation within an atmosphere of inclusion that is focused on positive social change.
